Dr. Abdus SHAKIR, PhD
Dr. Abdus Shakir holds a PhD in Plant Sciences with specialization in vegetable pathology. He has more than 25 years’ international and Canadian experience growing different cucurbitaceous and cruciferous vegetables, leafy greens vegetables, microgreens, strawberry, hemp and mushrooms in growth chambers, greenhouse, vertical stands, field, hydroponic and controlled environment. He has hands-on experience with agricultural and horticultural work in the greenhouse, controlled environment and hydroponic settings, including: transplanting, seeding, propagating, fertilizing, pruning, spraying, plant disease diagnosis, watering and integrated pest management of different vegetables and crop plants.
Dr. Asif MALIK, PhD
Dr. Asif Malik is an experienced Chief Executive Officer with a demonstrated history of working in the food and beverages industry. He holds a PhD in Agriculture from Aberystwyth University, United Kingdom. Dr. Malik is a strong business development professional and is highly skilled in customer service, sales, strategic planning, management, and business strategy. Dr. Malik is very experienced in vertical farming in closed environment and hydroponic facilities using Deep Water Culture or Nutrient Film Technique.
Dr. Robert IPPOLITO PhD
Dr. Robert Ippolito has more than 40 years of industrial chemical experience, following his initial training as a natural product/synthetic chemist. He has worked in the process scale-up of industrial chemicals and drug intermediates, completed original research and filed seven patents on various processes and intermediates. He has managed personnel involved in basic medicinal research. For the last 12 years, he has served as a contractor to numerous companies focused on the extraction and formulation of products from natural sources. He has also been successful in filing many grant applications for various companies.
James HARTWELL, BA
Financial Advisor
Mr. James Hartwell has more than 30 years’ experience in the investment industry, including extensive corporate finance and institutional sales experience. At Emerging Equities Inc., Mr. Hartwell has helped raise over $500 million in equity financings, and acted as financial advisor in over $1 billion of corporate/property acquisitions and divestitures in the oil and gas, and oil and gas service sectors. Mr. Hartwell has held various management positions, and is a former director of several public and private companies; including HartWell Petroleum Ltd., Command Drilling Inc., and MarkWest Resources Canada Corporation.
